Bio:
Marcel is the Development and Communications Coordinator at Climate Resolve. From a young age, he has been deeply passionate about environmental advocacy, driven by a desire to protect our planet’s resources and key ecosystems. Marcel’s interests have always centered on discovering solutions to address the pressing challenges of climate change through transportation design, effective science communication, and diverse stakeholder engagement.
Marcel previously worked as an environmental data analyst focused on limiting pollution and non-organic materials from vulnerable areas around the country. He also interned with the US Environmental Protection Agency to work on science communication and campaign development.
Marcel received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech, where he also studied architecture and design for several years. When not in the office, he enjoys surfing, skiing, hiking, and playing the French horn.
