Bio:
Emmanuel Vega is a professional creative with an array of skills within design and video production and editing. He is experienced in creating designs and videos for advocacy and nonprofit organizations. Emmanuel is passionate about using his creative skills to advocate for social causes and serve BIPOC communities. At Climate Resolve, he is dedicated to creating designs and videos that push climate efforts and engage communities in Los Angeles.
Before joining Climate Resolve, Emmanuel worked as the Digital Designer for NARAL, where he created designs that were informed through digital strategy. He also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee of Homeland Security majority staff as the Digital Coordinator. Here, he worked on design, videos, photography, and social media for all subcommittees, including the Emergency Preparedness, Response, & Recovery subcommittee which oversees FEMA. He learned and saw firsthand the impacts of natural disasters on climate-vulnerable communities.
Emmanuel is a graduate of the University of Virginia, with a degree in computer science. In his free time, Emmanuel is a member of a competitive taekwondo team, makes short films with his friends, and enjoys listening to music.
