Bio:
Ayanna Rose is the 2026 Luskin Leadership Fellow at Climate Resolve and a second-year urban planning student concentrating in housing and environmental planning.
She holds a background in sociology and anthropology from Carleton College, where she developed a strong interest in understanding how social systems, communities, and the built environment shape one another. Previously, she interned at the City of Houston, assisting the city’s post-disaster recovery program for Hurricane Harvey and Winter Storm Uri.
Her academic and professional interests center on the intersection of sustainable housing policy, climate resilience, and disaster response, with a focus on creating equitable and adaptive urban spaces.
In her free time, Ayanna enjoys exploring Los Angeles by visiting the city’s public libraries.
