Climate Resolve is proud to partner with Investing in Place, Slate-Z, and Pacoima Beautiful in the Bus Shelter Blitz project. The cornerstone of our work at Climate Resolve revolves around mitigating the effects of extreme heat in the most vulnerable of communities in and around Los Angeles.

It’s funny. The deodorant I use has a sales pitch printed on the container. It reads that it will replace my “stench monsters” with “fresh clean masculine ‘scent elves.”

While we did not know what this pandemic would mean for our work at Climate Resolve, with the support of great partners like yourself, our staff has been working harder

Is this the most important election of our lifetimes? When it comes to climate change, and the changes we need to implement with alacrity, the November 3 election is unquestionably mega-important.

Climate Resolve offers numerous year-round internship opportunities to students interested in climate change, sustainability, public policy, advocacy, and community outreach. We’d like to introduce you to them, their work with us, and how they’ve helped make Los Angeles a stronger and more sustainable city in the face of climate change.

To say we are living through unprecedented times is inaccurate. Calls for social justice and governmental accountability are certainly coming into focus, yet this is nothing new. Centuries of racism—especially the wrongful treatment of black men and women—have been a shameful aspect of American culture since its beginnings.

Why Tokyo, you ask? Because Tokyo has had experience using cool pavement effectively for over 10 years, and is quite advanced with a number of other urban heat countermeasures, too.
