Climate Resolve is proud to partner with Investing in Place, Slate-Z, and Pacoima Beautiful in the Bus Shelter Blitz project. The cornerstone of our work at Climate Resolve revolves around mitigating the effects of extreme heat in the most vulnerable of communities in and around Los Angeles.

It’s funny. The deodorant I use has a sales pitch printed on the container. It reads that it will replace my “stench monsters” with “fresh clean masculine ‘scent elves.”

To say we are living through unprecedented times is inaccurate. Calls for social justice and governmental accountability are certainly coming into focus, yet this is nothing new. Centuries of racism—especially the wrongful treatment of black men and women—have been a shameful aspect of American culture since its beginnings.
