Caleb Huang

Summer 2025 Luskin Fellow

Bio:

Caleb Huang (he/him) is the Summer 2025 Luskin Fellow at Climate Resolve. He is a rising second year Master’s of Urban and Regional Planning student at the University of California, Los Angeles. Born and raised in San Francisco, he is driven by his lived experiences growing up in a first-generation, low-income family. Having lived in formerly redlined neighborhoods, he is motivated to restore justice in communities facing transportation and climate injustices, similar to the ones he experienced growing up.

As a fellow, he will provide research and support for Climate Resolve’s Ready for Tomorrow and Shine On Initiative. In the past, Caleb has worked in the education, non-profit, and government sectors. This includes teaching English in Japan, working at a Bay Area nonprofit aimed at achieving education equity for low-income students, and working as an intern for USAID. While at school, Caleb works as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Institute of Transportation Studies and is a member of the Planners of Color for Social Equity.

Caleb graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with minors in Urban Sustainable Planning and East Asian Area Studies. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, rock climbing, and longboarding.
