Bio:
Andrew is the Outreach and Engagement Fellow at Climate Resolve. He is passionate about sustainability and restoration, as well as raising awareness of those who are disproportionately affected by climate change and environmental justice issues.
He recently graduated from UCLA, where he obtained his B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Conservation Biology. During his time at UCLA, Andrew served on a project that assessed the distribution of two breeding owl species within Los Angeles. He also spent time as a research assistant aiding UCLA’s Chief Sustainability Officer Nurit Katz with her Ph.D. research, investigating university biodiversity plans in multiple cities across the world for alignment with and criteria meeting their host city or region’s biodiversity plans and frameworks. Additionally, Andrew was part of a program for STEM students, where he attended research talks and engaged in learning workshops to enhance his knowledge and skills within the STEM field. Outside of UCLA, he has interned at American Integrated Services, Inc., where he primarily aided the Health & Safety Department in maintaining the health statuses of each employee.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys exploring the outdoors, running, watching movies, and creating playlists for all kinds of occasions.
