Bio:
Emilia is a human rights activist who has achieved structural changes that contribute to reducing poverty in Mexico, especially focusing on slums. She holds a bachelor degree in Finance and Management and a master’s degree in Social Innovation. Recently she studied Negotiation in the London School of Economics and Policy design in the Harvard Kennedy School.
She has been an international youth representative in high-level events like the Political Forum of the UN in NYC, USA and the Global Summit of Local Governments in Durban, South Africa. She served as CEO of the Mexican chapter of TECHO, the biggest youth-led organization in Latin America. Alongside her role in Climate Resolve, she is an Advisor to the Board of the Mexican Center for Philanthropy and teaches finance in various institutions of higher education.
