Celene is a senior Journalism student at the University of Southern California with minors in Linguistics and Cinematic Arts. Her experience as a multimedia journalist has fueled her passion for strategizing mass communication.
Born and raised in the Los Angeles metropolis, Celene is familiar with its abundance of information channels and how, despite their quantity, these channels lack effectiveness in relaying information to the city’s diverse population. Reporting on beats such as public health and policy drew her attention to areas where communicating such critical information can be strengthened.
Celene’s previous work includes live television production, radio and digital media, though she primarily enjoys creating on-demand audio-visual content.
