Wildfire Colloquium

On June 14, 2019, Climate Resolve held Wildfire; What Can Cities Do,  a unique conference that brought together climate scientists, policymakers, and wildfire experts. Attendees heard from State of California and local government leaders as well as national and local organizations on local actions that can protect life and property from extreme wildfire.

The event used the latest science to project how climate change will influence wildfires in the coming years, and used Q&A sessions and workshops to collaborate, share ideas, and produce findings that can hopefully reduce the damage of these terrible disasters.
