Janelle Vidal

Janelle Vidal is the Junior Coordinator for Resilience and Outreach at Climate Resolve. Driven by a strong passion for environmental justice and advocacy, Janelle believes community knowledge and engagement are vital to crafting equitable climate solutions.

With experience in the non-profit and academic sectors, Janelle has worked closely with diverse communities across Los Angeles, particularly in underserved areas. Before joining Climate Resolve, she was a Program Specialist at USC’s Division of Environmental Health, Community Engagement Core, where she managed communications and developed materials that summarized data-driven environmental justice research for broader audiences.

Janelle is a UCLA graduate with a degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Environmental Systems and Society and is committed to bridging the gap between scientific research and community-driven action. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, being a devoted cinephile (watching movies is practically her second job), and spending quality time with family and friends.
