There’s a recipe for staying sane in these wicked times.
Our friends at ecoAmerica and the American Psychological Association just released a study, Mental Health and Our Changing Climate, and among their top recommendations they suggest:
- connecting with family and community
- doing the things that provide a sense of meaning
- fostering optimism
- investing in your own resilience.
Listen, we’ve got an event that checks every soul-saving box on that list.
Climate Day LA —
on April 21 [we will announce a new date soon!] at the Theater at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles — will keep you sane and inspire you.
At Climate Day LA, you’ll definitely connect with others. You’ll discover new opportunities for action.
Lunch trucks arrive at 11:30 am. The event starts at 1:00 pm and runs ’til 5:30 pm. There’s also a gala, and a concert with cool musicians (to be announced soon). Details and registration can be found at climateday.la.
Hey, why not register right now? UPDATE: to make Climate Day LA bigger and better, the organizers have rescheduled for June; we will announce the new date soon!
