Kristina von Hoffmann

Outreach Director

Kristina von Hoffmann creates opportunities for Angelenos to lead on climate action with the Path to Positive LA initiative — via major events, outreach, and development. She is a Venice, CA, native committed to helping foster enduring solutions for the betterment of people and the planet, particularly within Southern California.

Before Climate Resolve, Kristina served as the Associate Program Director for the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE)’s West Coast region, where she helped fulfill the organization’s mission to educate and inspire the next generation of climate leaders. While at ACE, Kristina led a collaborative campaign between Mayor Garcetti’s Office of Sustainability, City Plants, TreePeople, and youth leaders to increase tree canopy and foster community education about carbon sequestration across Los Angeles. She personally delivered the ACE climate science assembly to 100,000+ students and academic leaders, and subsequently organized hundreds of them to take climate action through in-person leadership conferences. Kristina also served on staff at Three Squares Inc., an environmental consulting firm, where she assisted in the coordination of the Women in Green Forum and the Cleantech Global Showcase. She graduated from Scripps College with a dual BA in Environmental Policy and French. She is a devotee of hip hop, local farmers’ markets, and West African dance class.
