Posted by on January 22, 2018

Climate Resolve’s annual celebration of climate leadership, Coolest in LA, will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 6:30-8:30pm at at the historic Pico House, adjacent to Olvera Street.

Built 139 years ago, Pico House is the perfect location to celebrate climate action. Making history is our business — Climate Resolve is working today to protect Angelenos from climate impacts, both today and in the future.

On March 14, we will honor four Angelenos who are making a big difference.

  • Gabriela Teissier is Univision’s magnificent news anchor who is promoting climate solutions on LA’s most watched television channel.
  • Glen Dake is one of the LA’s best loved landscape architects. And he uses his vast knowledge of nature-based solutions at Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, where he is a director, and as chair-elect of the California League of Conservation Voters.
  • Nancy Sutley was President Obama’s Chair of the Council on Environmental Quality. Today, as chief sustainability officer at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power she is helping transform the utility.
  • Seleta Reynolds is general manager at the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation. Her bold implementation of the Vision Zero Plan and Mobility Plan are transforming the City for the better.

Our master-of-ceremonies is the renowned physicist and television personality, Clifford Johnson.

It’s always a great room — filled with good people of conscience.

Tickets are a mere $200 — and your support will help Climate Resolve perform important work.

(And there are also tremendous sponsorship opportunities — if interested, please contact us.)
